Plus I like the idea of getting a ride on Frozen Ever After without the wait, which is regularly over an hour. If people want a dessert party with Olaf, let them have it, the rest of the guests won’t even be a part of it. While I tend to be a traditionalist and would like to see World Showcase preserved somewhat, I don’t have a big problem with this as it’s just an extra event. I know a lot of people are upset about this, saying Epcot is being taken over by the characters, and it ruining the pure theme of World Showcase. Perhaps the new Frozen Ever After Dessert party could make its debut 2 days later that Sunday the 16th? We’ll have to wait and see. While we don’t yet have an exact starting date and Disney has not confirmed anything, if you go online to, you will find that the last scheduled Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party is on July 14th, a Friday. The cost of the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be $79 per adult and $47 per child, and will take place on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays each week. The party will of course have a Frozen theme, so you can expect a heavy presence of our lovable Norwegian characters, as well as desserts and alcoholic drinks themed to Frozen. It will be located in the front of World Showcase, in the designated viewing area for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. This review is focused specifically on the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party aspect. Although not yet confirmed by Disney, it looks like they will be introducing a brand new Frozen Ever After Dessert Party to Epcot.
